Loopy in a Hard-off Store
Another odd project that sprung up was an April Fool’s NES rom from Vex @ NintendoAge (his name changes from Vex and a bunch of numbers, so we’re running with the only constant part of his name). Vex is a programmer and has a Soviet-based platformer coming out soon(ish), so he thought it would be funny to release a “demo” which was really a quick game where the player searched through bins of famicom games until they found his game.
Little did we know in Japan there’s a loosely associated chain of “off” stores that sell electronics, home goods, garage items, books, etc., called Hard-Off.
