The process doesn’t stop once the instruments are compiled. Oh no, it just begins. Now that I’ve done one cart, the template has been created, which means simply following the steps. First? Compose an album. Done! Well, with regards to [Welcome to] Eville and Thornby this was done a few years ago so the real work was compiling (see the previous post). Secondly? Make the cover art. Again, done at the time. Next? Create the in-cart art. Ahhhh, it was tedious, but I did that one a few slow days as well. Next? Give the whole thing to my programmer, Kevin (click on his name and see his work- amazing). There’s a splash screen, a credits screen, and some modality that has to be put together. Turns out, for Eville, I used way too many tiles, so I had to chop  some detail (i.e. tiles) from the in-game artwork to make room for letters, numbers, and a few odd characters.

The result?
